Veterans · First Responders
For those who carried what no one should carry alone.
A dedicated path for veterans, first responders, and their partners — built around PTSD recovery, moral injury, and the slow work of coming home to yourself.
A note before anything else
We do not romanticize service. We do not promise miracles. We offer a serious, well-held container for people who are tired of carrying it.
Many of the people who arrive at our retreats have been through the VA, conventional therapy, multiple medications, and some have tried everything else first. They come because they have heard from a brother or sister that something here finally moved.
What we offer is not a replacement for clinical care. It is an addition — a deep one — that combines ancestral medicine, breathwork, somatic therapy, and integration in a setting designed for nervous systems that have been to war.
Our veterans program is led by John Hasan Khadiyev — somatic experiencing therapist in training and Iraq War veteran himself. John knows what PTSD looks like from the inside. If you are a vet or first responder thinking about reaching out, his is the email that will write you back.
We hold this work in small cohorts and one-on-one. If you cannot imagine being in a group right now — or you are simply not someone who heals with strangers in the room — write to us about a private retreat. Same team, same medicine, your pace alone.
How the program is built
Four foundations.
Trauma-Informed
Every facilitator is trained in trauma-informed care. Nothing is forced; everything is consented to and titrated to your nervous system.
Mind & Body
Somatic therapy, EMDR-informed practice, and breathwork to access what cognitive talk alone cannot reach.
Brotherhood
Small group cohorts of veterans and first responders. You will not walk this alone.
Integration
Four weeks of video calls — one per week — and a private community after you go home, because integration is where the healing lives.
Our Commitment
Scholarship slots in every cohort.
We reserve a portion of every veteran cohort for participants on a sliding scale or full scholarship — funded by previous attendees, donors, and our own commitment to giving back.
If finances are the only thing standing between you and this work, please write to us anyway. We will figure something out.

Coming with a fellow vet, a battle buddy, or a small group?
We see this often — vets who want to do the work alongside someone who knows what they've carried. We can build a private retreat for two, three, or a small unit of fewer than six, with the same team and the same trauma-informed approach. Pricing is custom and stays inside what's practical for veterans; scholarship and sliding-scale spots are available. Tell us who's coming and we'll respond within a day.
