Short ceremonies · One or two nights · For people already living in Ecuador
You are not looking for a ten-day retreat. You are looking for one night, with someone who knows what they are doing. We keep a calendar of short ceremonies held by healers we have met, sat with, and trust, and we find the one that fits you.

The difference
Most of what we run are retreats: four to eight days, a group, a full container of preparation and integration. That is not what everyone needs, and it is not what everyone can take time off for.
A short ceremony is one night or two, close to Quito, held by a healer who has been doing this for decades. You arrive in the afternoon, you sit at night, you sleep, you go home in the morning. Many of the people in those circles are Ecuadorian, neighbours, teachers, people who have been sitting with these medicines their whole lives.
What is hard is not finding a ceremony. There is always a ceremony. What is hard is knowing whether the person holding it is real, whether the medicine is clean, whether anyone will look after you at three in the morning, and whether the whole thing is being run for you or for your money.
That is the part we do. We have sat in these circles ourselves. We know who prepares their own medicine, who works with a fixed group, who will turn someone away rather than take a risk. You tell us what you are looking for; we tell you honestly what we would do.
You do not have to figure this out alone, and you do not have to trust a stranger from a group chat.
On the calendar
These are dates confirmed with the healer. Not every ceremony we know about is listed here, some are never published at all, and we will tell you about those once we know what you need.

How it works
There is no form to fill in on a website that decides your night. A person reads what you write.
You write to us
What you are carrying, which medicine you are curious about, and whether you have sat before. Three sentences is enough. WhatsApp is the fastest way.
We read the calendar
We look at what is actually coming up and who is holding it, not what was posted publicly, but what we know is confirmed.
We tell you what is possible
Dates, what the night looks like, how to prepare, what to bring, and what is included. One message, so you are not chasing five people for five answers.
You decide, and we stay reachable
Ask us anything before and after. If it turns out a particular ceremony is wrong for you, we will say so, and we will find another.
Why us
There is no register of shamans. Nobody licenses this work. Anyone can put up a page, print a poster, or be introduced to you as a maestro by someone who has never actually sat with them.
So we do it the slow way. We go. We sit in the ceremony. We watch how the healer handles someone who is frightened, how they handle someone who is sick, whether they stop when they should. We ask where the medicine comes from and who prepared it. We ask what happens if something goes wrong at four in the morning.
Only then do we put someone on this page. It is a short list, and it stays short on purpose.
What we keep private
Where it is held
Ceremonies happen in private homes, fincas and rural land. The families who open their doors did not ask to be on the internet, so the address reaches you only once your place is confirmed.
The whole shape of the night
When to arrive, how the ceremony runs, what to bring, how to eat that day, who else will be there, all of it in one message, once we know you are coming.
Some healers' names
A few of the people we work with prefer to stay out of search results. You will always know exactly who you are sitting with before you decide.
This is not secrecy for its own sake. It is how this work has always been done, and the people who hold it decide how it is spoken about.
Medicines
We do not hold ceremonies ourselves at these events, and we do not push one medicine over another. Tell us what you are drawn to and we will tell you what it actually involves.
Ayahuasca
Yagé. A full night of work with a curandero, usually from dusk until dawn.
San Pedro · Aguacolla
Wachuma. A daytime ceremony — gentler, open-eyed, often walked outdoors.
Sacred Mushrooms
A shorter, quieter night. Often the first ceremony someone sits with.
Yopo
An ancestral snuff, blown by the healer. Brief, strong, clarifying.
Kambo
Frog medicine. A morning purification, not a vision ceremony.
Temazcal
The sweat lodge. Frequently sits alongside one of the medicines above.
Beyond ceremony
We are more than a ceremony collective. Between us we know a wide circle of practitioners across Ecuador, traditional curanderos, medical doctors, psychologists, chiropractors, bodyworkers and therapists. These are people we have sent our own families to.
They work in different ways and they are good at different things. Some of what they do is medicine, some of it is therapy, and some of it is older than either of those words. We do not rank them, and we do not pretend one approach fixes everything.
So if a ceremony is not what you need, tell us anyway. We will point you towards someone we trust, and we will say so plainly when the right answer is a doctor rather than a healer.
What we can help you find
Biomagnet therapy
Magnets placed on specific points to bring the body back into balance. Widely practised in Ecuador, and often effective for pain.
Family constellation therapy
Looking at what you inherited from your family line, and where it is still quietly running your life.
Transpersonal therapy
Work that goes past the personal story, into meaning, identity, and whatever you call the larger thing.
Chiropractic
Structural work on the spine and joints. Good for backs that have been ignored for years.
Masajes & bodywork
Deep tissue, lymphatic, therapeutic. Sometimes the body simply needs hands on it.
Parasite detox protocols
Structured antiparasitic programmes, supervised, with a real diet built around them rather than a bottle of pills.
Fasting protocols
Supervised fasting, from a short reset to longer therapeutic fasts, matched to what your body can actually take.
Body detox protocols
Intestinal, hepatic and lymphatic cleansing, built around your situation instead of a fixed package.
Our sister site
Teo's Harmony works the other side of this: diet, health and wellness, parasite cleansing and fasting, and help finding the right therapist or constellation work. If that is closer to what you need, start there.

A person reads every one of these. The more honestly you write, the more useful our answer will be.

No. Our retreats run four to eight days with a group, preparation, and integration work. This is a single night or two, close to Quito, arranged around you. Different container, different people, different commitment.
No. A good number of the people we place have never sat before. That is precisely when having someone vet the healer matters most. Tell us it is your first time and we will plan around that.
Less than you would think. Ceremonies are often confirmed only two or three weeks ahead, and healers sometimes hold one on a week's notice. If you write to us today, we will tell you what is realistically possible this month.
Usually yes, though it depends on the size of the circle. Two people who know each other often do better than one person alone. Tell us how many you are and we will check the places available.
Tell us everything you take, including antidepressants, before anything is confirmed. Some prescriptions interact dangerously with these medicines, and a healer who does not ask you that question is a healer to walk away from. We ask it every time.
Around Quito and the surrounding valleys, and occasionally further out. The city is listed on every entry here; the exact address comes once your place is confirmed, out of respect for the families hosting.
Sometimes by phone beforehand, and always in person before the ceremony begins.
A ceremony, a therapist, a cleanse, or just a question you have been carrying for a while. A person reads every message that comes through here, and answers it, including when the honest answer is 'not this, not yet'.
